    Benching technique

    What do u guys think of guys who when they are doing flat bench barbell, they dont bring the bar all the way down to there chest ive seen people just barely go past half way is this an advantage to them or a disadvantage? To me i think this is halfassed but that is my opinion.

    i think doing it half way is for developing strength especially in the half way proportion

    So do u guys think someone could bench more by not going all the way down or less?

    Some use this as a way to break through a sticking point. I don't and I seem to do OK with chest development.
