    alternatives to decline bench?

    my gym has no decline bench......

    are there any alternative exercises, other than dips?

    neither did mine at one stage, but i put some weights under one end to make it a decline.

    yeah i've done that, by putting a foot step up thing under the end, but i find myself slipping downwards cos theres no bit to hook my leg on

    Im not too shure, but does scoops give the same workout as decline?

    Standing decline cable crossovers ; not so great for mass building, but they really bring out detail in the lower chest region.
    Do you have a cable crossover machine?

    Personally, i dont do no decline movements other than the above exercise.

    your whole chest gets a pounding if you hit it on flat or incline with heavy db's or bench press' .

    i'm guessing by scoops he means dips?

    yeah it has a cable machine, and its good in the sense the poles are quite close together (a metre maybe) so the action is very up and down, compared to out wide like a fly action. not sure if that makes sense.

    so those two exercises are about it but yeah?
