    About cardio...

    I've heard a few dif things on the subject and just want to hear what others have to say...

    Cardio on an empty stomach (ie when you wake up) is supposed to be the ideal time to burn more fat; however, it burns more muscle this way too, yes? It's come to my understanding that it's on a person to person basis as far as how much fat vs muscle you will burn on an empty stomach. Some people are more prone than others to burn muscle instead of fat. How much of this is true/false ?

    I think that whole loosing muscle from empty stomach cardio is over-rated.

    have some BCAA's in the am, do your cardio, and make sure the rest of your diet is on,

    And you'll be fine.

    99% of the time I just roll outta bed and get right to it empty stomach. If I am precontest I will sometime take a small hit of protein before cardio if I feel a bit too depleted.

    Not to be a dushe and post on your thread but, what exactly are BCAA's? And do they come in tablet form? If so, I'm going to get some at gnc.. Any particular brand?

    ^^Branched Chain Amino Acids, Leucine, Isoleucine and Valine are the 3. Yes you can get them at GNC in pill or powder form.

    I take it you have some cardio equipment at your house? I want a treadmill for my house badly! About how much is a descent treadmill?

    True but my subdivision is so hilly that it is hard to keep a constant heart rate. Have to walk slowly up the hills and a slight jog down the hills. Note: I do have a heart rate monitor.
