More frequent workouts while on a cycle?

I have been in a weight/fat loss mode for a year and a half now, and while I lost over 70lbs, I am not quite where I wanted to be in terms of bodyfat. However, I am sick of 'cutting', plain and simple. I am tired of looking like my shirt on a hanger and want to finally start adding some mass. If feeling this way after 1.5 years makes me impatient, i'll accept that.

I will be starting a very clean bulk (only about 500 above TDEE, no huge bulk) in May. If the stars align, I will also be running my first cycle (12 weeks of Test E + Dbol 1st 4 weeks). I have read about AAS speeding up recovery time and am wondering if I should be hitting muscle groups more frequently?

Right now I workout each bodypart 1x week. Should I up this to 2x week while on cycle? I don't plan on doing constant cycles (maybe 1x year) and therefore want to take full advantage of any benefits of AAS (faster recovery?) while on. What do you think?

Also - do you think 500 above TDEE is sufficient while on-cycle, or am I short changing myself? In other words, if one is bulking, should they eat more while running a cycle than they normally would?

In general you should workout a little more on cycle, a little less off to try to keep gains.

I usually do once a week per body part off, and once every 5 days on. My workouts are also about 55 minutes on, or 35 minutes off.

I believe to make your workouts just a bit longer and more strenuous but on or off cycle your body needs rest.....

    great progress btw!!!

    Keep up the good work!!

I think 500 over TDEE is good for you. Remember that you have been on a cutting diet for a year and a half. Your body is more then likley not stable at your current weight. Because you are normally 70lbs heavyer. It takes years for your body to hold to your new weight. So when you eat big, you will get big. It will pack right back on. The key is to eat, but eat very clean. You look great and did a great job. I think adding some solid mass would be good. Lean bulk is what you want. Not a heavy bulk. If your into your cycle and want more results eat more, or eat less and do more cardio to help keep off some weight if you like. See how your body reacts and go from there. But 500 over sounds like a good starting point.
