Good routine for my goals
Hey,
My goal is basically simply to get toned and defined.
I am NOT looking to build up huge muscles or get incredibly strong.
I simply want to be low body fat percentage, with good muscle tone definition, but not excessive.
Stats:
Male
25yrs old
6ft
255lbs, about 28% body fat... I'm obese
Diet
Trying to get about 2500cal/day in 4 meals (usually)... around 220-250g protein typically
Exercise routine thus far:
Cardio by jogging and then cardio on a stationary bike, total time about 40min to 1hr
My question:
Since I'm looking to be toned, and I am currently obese, my main goal is to lose weight (fat).
But I would like to do some weight lifting... I would like to work on my chest/triceps, my back and biceps, my abs and my legs.
Do you have any suggestions of a routine?
Number of sets? Types of exercises?
I will obviously be spending more time doing cardio (6 days a week or so)
But I'm trying to figure out how much weight lifting I should be doing as well.
Thanks
