Need opinion on HST ??
Currently training 3 days on 1 off , like this : Back, Chest, Arms, off , Legs, Shoulders/traps ect ect and so on..
Doing all main compound excercises of course (deadlifts, squats, benchpress,militarypress,romanian deadlifts)
MY partner recently suggested doing HST - i think that stands for hypertrophy specific training .. i understand the concept of it Just curious what you people think of it and your opinions: thank you..
Also i am 5'5 205 aprx 15-16% bfat Also keep in mind just started running my first cycle which is just Test E, soon to kick in some EQ .. Just started week 2 yesterday --
Let me know your opinions brothers and sisters in iron

I've ran two cycles (of HST). It opened my eyes. I had previously over trained for years, without much upward progress in poundage or lean muscle mass.
Of course, suddenly finding myself doing squats and deadlifts 3 times a week might have also contributed to my quick gains, but I was doing more, with less. if you're a 'hard gainer', getting to failure quickly in a set or two really seems to help.

tried it a long time ago, didnt like it. I say just stick with the basics and lift with intensity
