Cardio while bulking???
Hey just wondering what everyone's thoughts are on doing cardio while bulking. I've lowered my cardio to nothing apart from 5 min warm up on the bike before hitting weights. I've done this for the last couple months with good muscle gains and will probably continue for another 4 months. I'ved one this before but only for a few months not 6 months at a time. I eat clean and my bodyfat would still be below 15%. Is it ok to do no cardio or should I add a few sessions a week back into my program?

Im naturally fairly lean, so when Im bulking I keep cardio to 2 x a week low intensity... I have other mates that do high intensity cardio 3 x a week and still stack on the beef... Everyone is different. It depends on your body type and what your goals are?? I have a stick figure mate who desperatly wants meat on his frame... So for him I dont reccomend any cardio.

Goal is to put on size but I guess I feel guilty not doing cardio for so long. I'm a mesomorph so I guess I should do a little cardio. I might just do 2 light sessions a week to keep my fitness reasonable. Thanks for the input.

im doing the same thing as you boxa, i havnt done cardio for two months, in order to save calories to grow. i think i will start next week though, i feel like it may not be to healthy for my heart and lungs
