    cardio and muscle waste

    now from what i have heard and found out on the internet, cardio , will prevent or evan shed muscle mass.

    is this right or not ? ?

    If you do too much and your have a terrible diet it can cause muscle loss. If your diet is in check and you do it at the right times and at the right intensity you can burn bodyfat and not lose muscle.

    If I were concerned about muscle loss, cardio wouldnt make the top 5 of things I would be addressing. Inadequate nutrition, inadequate sleep, too long weight training sessions, training a muscle too often, not enough rest days, stress from your daily life would all come to mind first.

    Yes it can put u in a catabolic state if its for too long an extended period and/or nutrition isnt up to par. Otherwise it will just incrur BMR so youl need to eat a few more calories to compensate and continue gaining weight.. thats my understanding anyway might be wrong
