    Back to Basics..Shoulders.

Was wondering if anyone could list the basic exercisers for shoulder growth?
I've never had a decent workout for them or been totally commited to them.
    Would help out a bit.
    Thanks

Was in the exact same position as you up until about a month ago, all i wanted was to bench press and have big arms, but all of a sudden i saw the big urge to have good shoulders and now i really want good traps, think if your wearing any type of top, the traps will always show people that you workout good!!!

The workout i have been doing is pretty good, its as follows

    4 sets DB press 10,8,6,6
4 sets DB front raise 8,8,6,6,
4 sets DB side lateral raise 8,8,6,6,
2 sets BB shoulder press/machine press 8,8 (really slow controlled reps)
    5 sets BB shurg 12,10,8,6,8

^You listed good exercises, but almost 20 sets for a smaller muscle group like shoulders is over kill, imo.

i have never really had big ones compared to the rest of my body

I personally always did high volume for shoulders, and they are probably my best muscle group.

    Smith Shoulder Press
    3x10

    DB shoulder press
    3-4x10

    db front raise
    3x10

    db side raise
    3x10

    db reverse flys
    3x10

sometimes upright rows at the end
    3x10

Like i said, many say that would be way to much, but its what Ive always done and my shoulders get the most compliments.

Big shoulders look cool, if you have big traps and big shoulders in general it makes the rest of you look good IMO.

As i said i was never really motivated to do them, but now i love going to do them!! also i think when your shoulders get bigger and wider your waist looks a bit smaller
