Try going with a bit wider of a stance. Don't go super wide to the point where your bow legged, bbut try that out. t-gunz has got apoint, build up some of your balance. gotta crawl before you can walk

You ready for the cure? Well read no further..

Throw down a couple of dimes...now rest just the heel of both feet on the edge of the dime plates. I gurantee you that if you focus on this you will tear the quads up, this will also help keep your posture where it needs to be as wel as go deeper.

    Bingo! Game Over! You're welcome!

HAHAHA!!! NICE!! believe it or not I used to squat in mens dress shoes for this exact reason, seems to really isolate the quad for some reason.

but to the OP it sounds like instead of getting DOWN into the squat your going BACK into it, causing you ballance to be compromised. Work on strict form and once it becomes second nature then the weight will come.

Mate, maybe it's something else, i have a back issue (spinabifita) and am quite tall, I know many will rage on me for this but i had dropped squats all together, i just could not get down low enouth or with a weight that would give stimulation, however i have never had a problem with leg press and that is where i hit them hard.... no figure but thats the way it is, for the stabaliser muscles i found i could also do lunges no problem
