    Neck Training

Me personally I don't like the look of having big shoulders, good traps and then a scrawny neck! But then again too bulky isn't ideal [for me]..
Also with my experience with Martial arts and sports in general I know the neck is basicly the shock absorber for the brain and important to prevent injury.

Curious to hear from You all how you feel about Neck training?

    Neck harness/developer ? Wrestlers bridges ? Machine ?

in bodybuilding i don't think there is a huge stess in neck development. it kinda disappears once the upper traps start developing.

definitely important to train your neck for sh!t like football, wrestling or fighting sports.

i have a thick neck and finding a dress shirt is a no go.

A good routine and variation in training should not result in a scrawny neck. For example, certain exercises will undoubtedly involve muscles closely related such as traps during deadlifts. I agree with the above post that well developed traps take over and there should no longer be a scrawny neck. If there is a weakness that prominent it is probably because of a lack of compound movements....

I agree, too many bb's have pencil necks. It looks funny to me. I always train my neck but not by the techniques you described. I bite a shirt tied to weight and do neck ups. Works the jaw out as well. I have a mouthpeice in to protect my teeth. I have one hell of a bite believe me. lol

I`m not sure how I get a huge neck exactly but whatever I`m doing is working well I`m at 18.5" now and shirts are getting harder and harder to buy lol.
