well, your routine looks like a basic split. I did this routine for a six months or so, then moved it around like this....
monday...chest, bis, quads
wedne.....shoulders, calves
friday.....back, tris, hams
my reasons were this...when i worked chest and tris on same day, my tris were fried faster. When i worked back and bis' on same day, my bis were fried. When i work my legs on the same day, i don't get the hamstring workout i needed. So, i did this...effectively worked many of the groups twice but with 3+ days in between. Left my shoulders and calves on wed because they were my weak spots.
My results with this split were awesome, I increased strength in every group, i learned that my hamstrings were really weak and needed serious attn. I also was able to focus more on each group as each muscle was nearly fresh when i started to work it. I got alot of flak for doing this but it worked for me.

yellow dont u think thats a little too much on chest day?? Im lookin to bulk but since i changed my routine from doing:
mon-chest, bicep
wed- legs, shoulders,traps
friday-back,tri
Please help me switch it up. For some reason i tried the new one this week and it felt like to much...

Well I dunno, I guess this would depend on the individual....On this type of split, I would only do dumbbell presses or military press every other week to avoid hitting the front delts too much....Originally posted by SwoleDiesel662

If I was on a split where chest and shoulders and shoudlers were with tris, I would definitely do shoulders first.....
I guess it depends if your tris are lagging or your shoulders I dunno...![]()
