    Deadlift question

    Alright so I have been deadliftin about 6-7 months now and the highest weight I have pulled up was 430 but considering I have had back problems in the past and do not want any now would repping out lower weight still allow me to build mass here is my DL workout now

    warmup 135 10x
    185 8x

    225 6x
    255 6x
    285 6x
    315 3-5x


    will this dl routine still allow me to buil mass

    Of course it would. Implement a 5x5 program, they are very effective.

    5x5 alright ill give that a try can that go towards chest back shoulder and leg to aswell becouse right now i use about a 4x6 on everything

    agree on the 5x5 for deads! Science says you need to lift 70%1rm to make gains, stay above that and your good.
    so I would warm up with x3's to weight and do the x5 for the work sets.

    you can use 5x5 for all of those as well, time to get 70's big.

    its been proven that lifting as little as 40% of your 1rm will still help u gain muscle and get stronger
