It's usually dependent on the individuals age. I'm 24 and aim for the 145-150 range. Check out http://www.rush.edu/itools/heart_rate/hrtrate.html to determine your range. If you workout and do cardio at a gym, many of the machines will have a graph showing you the ideal heart range for your age.
if your going low intensity
220 - your age x .65 = dont let your hrt rate go below this
and keep it up for 45-60 minutes
If your main goal is to cut while not adding any lean body mass during this time than do it 5-6 times per week
If you want to try and gain a small amount of LBM during this time than I would say 3 times per week would be best, but keep in mind try to set one goal at a time
because it is crazy hard to gain LBM while cutting.
Yes I am trying to cut but gain maybe a little... I'm on ckd at the moment. With the calculation u gave me it works out to b 126, so il keep it around there.
So 3 times a week at 40mins is what I need??
