    ***Floor Press for triceps***

i have receintly started using floor presses as a part of my tricep routine and im feeling it great

I started since i put chest and tris on the same day

As you have already trained chest ur elbows arr going to be warm and to can get straight into it after a 'feel set'

To perform the lift you lie on the floor in a power cage and set the bar up like in a bench press

I take a grip 12 inches apart as this is best for me

Lower the weight slowly untill ur triceps are completly on the floor, then explode up and squeeze the tris hard at the top, tying not to lock out to hard

I find this a great exercise and feel each head has been blown away the next day, just thaught i would share with you so u can try it out if u dont already

Hell yeah, floor presses are next in line to CGBP in terms of packing on that quality mass for the tricep. Squeeze and contract at the top. Follow that up with incline skull crushers and you'll be fried.

I was doing some reading on it also and it sounds like a good mass builder for the chest also when done right.

CGBP your hands should be shoulder width apart IMO and come down to where it comfortable (not always touching chest).

thats how i like then, 12-14 inches apart

i still prefer off the floor tho, seems to keep the strain off delts and on triceps

I feel that CGBP should only come as deep as when doing floor presses, thats one reason i now use floor presses
