Talking stop legs just do extra deadlifts ??

ok im one of these blokes who hates training legs but i still crak on a do them.
im just wondering as the only real reason i train legs is i hear its good for upper body muscle growth but over the last 6 months i havent really notcied a difference with upper body gains in so far as me training legs. so just wondering could i pack in the leg days butt replace them with extra deadlifts as i know deadlifts still hit the legs?
(i am going for the lightbulb look lol). deadlifts i always do with back on a monday and i do legs with shoulders on a friday, if i bin the legs and just do extra deadlifts on a friday do you think that it would be sufficiant enought ?
like i said my goal is for a more upper body build. anyone here just do deadlifts for legs ??
    thanks

The extent that deadlifts hit your legs will depend on your leg length and arm length. I would advice against leaving out other leg exercises like the squat however they benefit the whole body and are not just a leg exercise. For all practical purposes having a huge upper body and tiny legs not only looks goofy but prevents you from excelling in sports and will eventually lead to excessive stress on your joints without skeletal muscle there to help with the load.

If you hate doing squats to the point that you are going to stop working out legs, just do leg presses or something.

Learn to love DEEP squats. Lots of dudes have big arms, few have sick wheels....a true accomplishment.

You can't ditch squats and substitute with deadlift, if you want to work your legs you have to work your legs

What's with all the pusses that hate squats so much they wanna quit? Legs are a beast, anyone who trains knows they are, but they are a beast because they are so essential to your growth and overall physique. If calves, forearms or traps were that hard, then I could see having a good QQ in a forum about it. But Legs are the wheels that carry the whole package around.

    Legs are a must!
