    post workout shake

My question is this. If Its essential to have a protein shake within the first 20min after training. How do I do it when doing abs? Meaning when I finish legs for example then I go do abs which may take 30min. When should I take my shake? right after legs or can I take it after abs?

No it's not essential. You can take it within hours after a workout man.

You might want to look into some fast digesting carbs to boost recovery and prevent muscle break down as well. I make my own at edit along with about 35% whey protein isolate. Works well

I drink my shake and eat a clif bar (mmmm simple carbs) right after the workout is done. I don't do cardio when I do my weight training so there is never the question of if I should wait till after the aerobic stuff to get my protein flowing again. Don't be to neurotic about it, but honestly if your eating every 2.5 hours like me, there isn't a lot of time to 'wait' to eat.

I eat 1 to 1.5 hours before I work out....so when the training is done 40-70min I need to eat again.
