    5x5

    I need help setting up a good 5x5 routine when I start bulking. I've googled some routines bit there were just confusing me and some of them I didn't like some of the misc. Lifts incorporated in with the compound lifts. Someone just share your knowledge with me for a good 5x5

    D1. Upper Power
    5x5
    Barbell Bench Press
    Barbell Rows
    Military Press
    Barbell Shrugs

    D2: Lower Power
    5x5
    Back Squat
    Conventional DL
    SLDL
    6-8 sets of Seated Calf Press 8-12 heavy rep range

    D3. Off/Light Cardio
    D4. Off/Light Cardio

    D5. Same as D1..
    D6. Same as D2..

    Your choice of isolation movement surrounding each compound movement...

    Should I do rhis 3 days a week like Mon wend Fri? Also this things that confused me when I was researching it was it would say to change the percentage a certain week

    What are some good isolation movements I can do . when do I do them how many sets and reps do I do them

    Bi: Bicep Curls, Spider Curls, ect..
    Tri: Skulls, V Bar PD's ect..
    Pec: Flyes, Pec Deck, ect..
    Delts: Side laterals, Rear Raise, ect..
    Core: Planks, bridges, ect..
    Quad: Extensions..
    Hams: Ham curls..
    2-3 sets, 8-12 rep range, ect..

    Could you set up a complete sample routine for me with the compounds and isolation movements.also is this a three or four day split

    It's not hard man, I've done enough by creating everything above off the top of my head. Now it's time to use yours. When you come up with something, I'll critique it...

    i am just confused on how many isolation movements i needto do and how many need added to which days.
    ex.D1. Upper Power
    5x5
    Barbell Bench Press
    Barbell Rows
    Military Press
    Barbell Shrugs
    Skull crush
    BB Curl

    D2: Lower Power
    5x5
    Back Squat
    Conventional DL
    SLDL
    6-8 sets of Seated Calf Press 8-12 heavy rep range
    Quad ext.
    Ham. Curl

    does this sound good?im just confused if i need to add one isolation for each muscle or just pick a couple i like

    aldo would this be split like
    mon.upper power
    wends.lower power
    fri.upper power
    mon.Lower power etc.

    Yep that's an example right there. Isolations aren't really a necessity if you have all those compounds in there, so I would stick with that layout. See how it pans out.

    okay do you think i should just change the isolation movements up every other day or so like one day ill do bis and tris other day ill hit a back and shoulder

    do a google search on madcows 5x5 linear version..... tried and true program

    Ive used the 5x5 plan with..
    bench presses
    incline presses
    shoulder presses
    front squats
    back squats
    deadlifts
    weighted pull-ups

    all other movements get 8-20 reps

    what was your splits and how many lifts did you do each day. Can you give me a better out line.

    Also the madcows 5x5 looks good

    Ill chose just one movement for 5x5 per bodypart. say for legs 5x5 on squats then 4 sets 14-20 leg presses as well as extentions.

    And for chest it would be 5x5 on incline in 3 sets flat DB at 10-12 reps and flys as well.
    also 5x5 is for barbell movements only, least for me.
