    What do you think?

I've just changed shifts at work from 7am to 3:30 with my gym time after work and now I'm working 3:00pm to 11:30 with my gym time right before work. Before I ate 75% of my calories before the gym, now it'll be after the gym. My question is do you think I'll see better gains now that I have more time to add calories after lifting?

I do better when lifting at night, as I've had all day to eat so I've got plenty of energy when I make it to the gym.

I get about 1000 calories in me before the gym. I did do something I've been trying for the last 2 weeks. I've been trying to get 80lb dumbbells up on incline bench. I knew I had the strength to push them but couldn't get them off my shoulders initially(no spotter). Today I got them up 7 times and then got up 85s 4 times. My strength is starting to come on from this cycle, but I couldn't get them last week. Not sure if not being tired after working all day had anything to do with it or not. I'm an auto/diesel tech so my job is kinda physical.
