    tricep ?

For some reason my inner tricep is growing much faster then the outer, what can i do to more evenly work them out? I normally do,

    cable pushdowns over/under hand
    dumbbell extensions
    dips
    skullcrushers

Close Grip Bench Press, heavy, hits all the tris.

    Followed by

Basic cable push downs with a rope are very good at hitting the lateral head

should I split the rope to a Y at the bottom while I flex the triceps?

Try some overhead extensions with the curl bar. I like to alternate grip slightly inward out outward.

It could be in your genetics man. My outer head will never grow no matter what. I've literally tried everything. I don't want to discourage you thought. Nail those heavy close grips and see what happens.

Another tip, forgive me if you already do this.. But I see tons of younger dudes at the gym when doing some variation of a pull down (Be that a rope, preacher bar, V bar, etc) that they have their chest over top of their hands, almost as if they're bent over the equipment...

I've found what makes my triceps the sorest is slow speed and form.

When you're doing some sort of pull down, bend your knees slightly, and picture your elbows as hinges. Make sure the negative part of the rep is as slow if not slower then the positive

I say at it at least once a day in the gym, don't push the weight with your shoulders. Let only your elbows move during pushdowns, or any arm exercise for that matter. In order to get your arms to grow, you must have PERFECT form!

I am starting to believe its impossible to isolate a certain part of a muscle. For example when people say "this movement works lower chest." No its not the lower chest it working, its THE chest. The way your chest reacts/grows is all genetics. Can you hit the muscle on different angels ? sure but does that mean its going to grow differently ? Nope. All my opinion.
