    recently hit a wall

gains have been really slow since my last cut. i got down to around 11% bodyfat mid july, training 5 days a week, then went on vacation for a month. i lost a small but noticeable amount of mass on vacation since i've only been doing pushups and pullups.

since i got back on september 1, my gains have been REALLY slow compared to the past. my diet is pretty much normal and my training too. what's the deal? here is a copy of my log from last week

(i start each muscle with a light 3 set pre-exhaust on a machine)

    chest: incline dumbell press 12/10/8/8
    flat bench 12/10/8/8
    incline flys 12/10/10/8

back: deadlift (every other week) 12/8/8/6/fail
    wide grip seated rows 12/10/10/10
    v-grip pulldowns 12/10/8/8
    t-bar rows 10/10/10

    legs: squats 12/8/5/5/5
    leg press 12/10/8/6
    quad extensions 10/8/8
    leg curls 12/10/10/8
    seated calf raises 10/10/8/8

delts traps: db military press 12/10/10/6
    isolated cable lat. raises 12/12/10/10
    upright rows 12/10/8/8
    db shrugs 10/8/8/8

bis tris: 2 sets barbell curl dropsets, 6-8-10-12 each set
    machine preacher curls 12/10/10/8
    isolated cable curls 10/10/10
    skullcrushers 12/10/10/8
    overhead cable extensions 12/12/10/8
    seated extensions 10/10/10

there are some noticable issues with the above, but I'd like some more information. I need your stats ht/wt/age/lifting experience. If you have been on the above program for 3 months it would be time to change it anyway, IMO. I'd like to recommend something for you to switch to but I'd also like you to go to the diet section and find the thread entitled "AR remote trainer/physique transformation challange" see if you think it might help you out.

A couple suggestions. Some people including MYSELF need to change their routine quite often in order to keep making gains so you may be one of them. Your caloric intake may be too low in order to gain, even though a diet seems sound it could usually be tweaked at least a little bit. What is your intensity like in the gym? Do you find yourself lethargic or fatigued? You may be over-training or under-training depending on the answers to those previous questions. How are your hydration levels? These are things to think about and consider.
