How much time do you spend working out?

I know people who practically live at the gym but I'm sure several of you know that working out longer than an hour can cause your body to start producing more lactic acid, cortisol, along with other things...

Personally speaking, once I get going - it's hard to stop. How much time do you spend working out?

I try to keep it 45 minutes to an hour 4 times a week plus a bit of cardio outside of that.

For me it depends on the day. My squat day and bench day are about 2-2:15 hours, but I train in a group. My deadlift and military press days are about 75-90 minutes.

    Same.

When I am on a cycle still 50 min at the most.

Rest time between sets is where I make up a lot of time, used to be every other min now it is every minute.

4 days a week not on 5 days a week on.

Run in the AM ~30 min.
    Bike to gym ~15 min.
    Stretch ~10 min.
    Weights ~30-45 min.
    Elliptical ~30 min.
Bike home from gym ~15 min.

As you can probably tell I'm in a cutting phase

I don't like to train more than 3 days a week, but my main lift can take as much time as 15 sets of accesory stuff, depends on what i am doing. 2 hours would be pusing the max, with 1 hour probably being the min.

I never go past an hour. My rule of thumb and I have had great results.
