    weak biceps - HELP

hi all , i am currently training for my first show which will be september 2011
i am only 5ft 3inch tall and weigh 190lb (hopefully about 170 on stage) the problem i have is although my arms are 17inches -this is all from tricep size -my biceps are pathetic with no peak - i can only curl 80lb despite being able to dip body weight + 60kg for triceps ! i am desperate for help on this. i always lift heavy on most exercies and have tried most things - my biceps are never sore please help

What are you currently doing for biceps and what have you tried

ihave tried minimal sets after back - a dedicated arm day - i am now using more volume as i thought maybe i have tough fibres in them or somehting ,so now i do 3 x ez curls 3 x incline curls 3x preache cable curls - all around 10 reps - i no longer go to failiure on any of my exercises - the only thing i have never tried is to completely omit biceps from my training !

How about trying some HIT on them

    Keep the movements basic

    Straight bar curls
    Incline curls
    Db concentrated curls
    Bb preacher curls

Pick 3 and do two HIT sets per exercise

my entire trainng protocol is based on hit principles and always has been - recently i had great progress on one set to failiure but not on biceps ! i usually do a few excercises with one set of each on all bodyparts and they respond well

    HIT is training beyond failure

Drop sets, rest pause, negatives, forced reps

    These will all help you

yes i am aware of this but reached a bit of a plateu and decided to try more volume and give my cns a chance to regroup - i normally do this every 3-4 months just to allow any nagging joint pains etc a chance to fix and then its right back into hit
