i think thats a good thing. keep it up and grow.
well, you have your arms at the end of the week ... think about that ...
they are used as auxillary muscles during your chest, shoulder, and back workouts .... so you've pre-fatigued them by the time you get to them to target them ....
of course they're going to be sore
will that effect my gains??
Personally I don't think you're pre-exhausting your biceps with that workout. You would be worse off training arms first in the week as your other lifts would suffer and could lead your arms to being over-trained...
Post your biceps routine, you might be going too heavy, doing too much, or not executing excercises properly. By sore do you mean post-work, during workout, next day? Delayed on-set muscle soreness occurs 24-72 hours after stimulus. That's normal. If you're feeling too sore during your workout you might be working the wrong excercises, executing them wrong, handling the wrong weight, doing too many sets, or any combination thereof.
The main question is - Are you growing? If so, don't worry. It's when you're not seeing results that you have to re-examine your approach. Some soreness during a workout is perfectly normal too. If the soreness turns to pain however, go see your doc.
The thing is that its a new routine. Im not really sure if its working or not buttt...the soarness comes right when i start biceps, my biceps feel like if i worked them out the day b4 and im still a lil soar. For some reason after a the first exersize of biceps i start to feel it less.
I didn't mean pre-exhausting in the traditional meaning of the term ..Originally posted by Polska

what I am referring to is that if you do bench on monday, then come in to work on your triceps on wednesday, you're going to feel them already ..... there will be a little "burn" so to speak already there
