Thread: Abs Workout Question

  1. #1

    Abs Workout Question

I've heard some people say that abs should be worked out every day, usually at the end of workouts.

I've also heard others say that abs are not "magic muscles" and need to be rested min. 24 hrs just like any other muscle before they should be worked again.

Wondering if anyone could lend their advice/expertise here.

    Thanks!

I hardly ever train abs directly.

They get a lot indirect stimulation from other exercises..squats, for instance.

If you want to train them directly, 2-3 times a week is plenty, imo.

You only need 2 exercises for a 6 pack the push away (from the table) and the head shake (no thank you)

every other day is fine. always do lower abs before doing your conventional abs. that's what ive read in several articles. your lower abs tire faster if you do normal ab workouts- it'll leave you no energy to do your lower abs. thats why it's so freakin easy to have a 2 pac. lean body mass is a major aspect though

    Agree with this statement.
