    Workout etiquette question

OK, here's something I wanted to get all y'alls opinion on...

How do you handle this situation: you want to use a piece of equipment at the gym, but someone else is using it as part of a multi-machine circuit training workout. For example, you want to use the bench press but another guy just got off of it and now he's doing triceps pull-downs and then dips but he's going to come back and want to use the bench again in 30 seconds. Do you ask to work in and try to time your sets around his circuit training? Do you wait 'til he's done and come back to use it later? Or do you tell him he's being uncool and should limit his workouts to one machine at a time so that other people can use them?

This doesn't happen a lot, but it does happen... especially, I've noticed, with personal trainers who are trying to maximize time with clients. Would love to hear your thoughts on this, thanks!

Be polite but dont pose it as a question, pose it as a statement. "Hope you dont mind me working in my sets while you are on another machine"

Yeah or depending on the person you could just ask how many sets they have left and if it's quite a few then they will usually ask if you wanna work in. If they don't ask then just say fireguys statement.
