Seeing we are only using one word here ; Overload
I posted a poll too![]()
Your poll choices are poorly conceived. There is way too much overlap in the answers. The first 5 alone could all be catagorized as the same thing.
Progressive Tension Overload + a calorie surplus
why is that?
one could lift very heavy with a poor technique or never feel the burn because of low reps, isn't it?
Rest after overload!
What kind of training? Weight training. You should be incorporating every one of those principles everytime you go to the gym. Are you under the impression you can only apply one of those choices when you work out?
not only one factor happen when I work out, but sometimes not all of them happen or are felt (i.e. since I am a newbie sometimes I try to lift heavier than I should and my tecnique deteriorates, or I don't concentrate enough to feel a good contraction)
so I suppose they are ALL important for gaining muscle?
/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\ yes
if you are new i reccomend concentrating on technique first the rest will come with time, well apart from DOMS which is just a sympton of training, which your gonna have to get used to.
This thread is stupid in so many ways, it doesnt make sense![]()

i wouldnt say stuiped. maybe the OP just has a confusing time to understand the concept. and fireguy is being patient explaining this.
Great insight.
