    Ab workout

    How many times a week should I be doing abs? Right now I do cardio every other day and same with abs?

    depends on the goal with your abs. . . if you are doing them for just endurance than EOD is fine.

    Abs are tricky because how one person works them doesn't match the same intensity another would

    I personally work them 3 times a week, but i don't use weight, only sit-ups, crunches, flutter kicks and reverse crunches.

    but guys that do weighted pull downs and/or push them to extreme failure with resistance training would hold off to once a week.

    For me personally the best thing is to push as much as I can once in a week where I focus on abs and doing some cardio at the same time. Do not know whether that is a great way to go for everyone but it works great for me.

    Thanks guys. I do hanging leg raises.,reverse crunches,decline sit-ups. No weights at all for abs.

    Have you tried leg lifts with a stability ball between your feet? It works really well.

    I bring them almost two feet off the ground. Remember to point your toes and do the reps slowly.
