    While on duty..

I'm in the Navy and unfortunately we have a four section duty meaning I have to be on the ship for a full 24 hours every four days. So, basically. Our ship does not have a gym right now for we are on a barge and the ship is in dry dock. Besides the simple push-up, sit-up, and pull-up routine, could you give personal suggestions on other with-out weight workouts that I can do to keep up to par on those unfortunate days?

Ive heard a few ideas elsewhere.
if your benching use a forklift and put weights on them and push upwards , only works if u have a forklift in your ship

use a steel bar and wrap chains around them for squat/deadlifts

do pullups if you can, not sure what else you could do, maybe tire flipping if there's an open space

not sure if you'd get in trouble though if chains started going missing lol

Sailors are smart...they don't catch bullets

OP, you can do a lot of good work with only weighted dips, weighted pullups and weighted lungs..IMO, 3 of the best movments in the book.

Oh yeah and an fav on mine, handstand pushups

Lift as much as you can off the ship and let your body repair itself for those 24 hours IMO. You can try box jumps or other plyometric exercises like clapping push-ups, burpees, squat thrusts, etc.
