I am back from a grade II AC separation, and need to replace my wide grip pulldown exercise. It puts to much stress on my shoulder. Does anyone have a good exercise to replace it with, and not loose any back strength?

I had a grade 3+ AC seperation almost 2 years ago..I also noticed stress when doing pulldowns, but I didn't really touch a weight for almost the first year. Since hitting it hard again I noticed the rear portion of my delt was getting tight/painfull, I managed to start with light seated reverse flys (machine) over the course of a month and just now my pulldowns feel good again. Not sure if this will help you but it seemed to work ok for my injury.
*I forgot to mention I had corrective ortho surgery, I am asuming you had sugery for it? if not I am sorry for the response.
