    Cutting fast.

    Hey guys,

So, as it is the dead of winter I am currently in a bulking phase. However, I just got a job offer from a modeling agency in washington D.C... meaning of course, I need to get cut, fast. I realize this thread also belongs in the diet forum, but as I have never cut fat before, I am not even sure where to start. What should my diet look like? What should my workout routines be changed to?

Currently I am on a total mass gain plan, however that is going to need to change. I realize I'll be losing muscle mass as well as fat, but thats O.K.

    Thanks in advance guys.

What type of modeling is it, that bf% seems way too high for the industry? Agreed go over to diet section and have them help you out also AM cardio on an empty stomach with either a protein shake or BCAA's will help.

That is a tough goal to reach in such a short amount of time. Have you cycled before? Are you willing to use cutting agents to assist your fat loss? No matter what you decide, cardio and diet are going to be the primary factors that determine your success. Normally people cut with a diet that starts at about 500 calories fewer than one's TDEE. This is a generalization, but that will get you started. You need to calculate what your TDEE currently is and plan your diet out from there. The guys in the diet section, especially GBrice and Twist are usually very willing to help people are are very knowledgable on top of that. If you have the dedication to follow a diet and cardio routine without cheating, you may be able to achieve your goal. Depending on your usage of AAS and other chems, you might start a cutting cycle and throw is T3 and/or clen/albuterol to assist your fat loss and retain muscle. All that depends, however, on your age and cycle experience.

Also, for future consideration, I would never personally try to bulk at 16% bodyfat. IMO that is already too much bodyfat, to which you will only add more by bulking. I would suggest getting down to at least 12-13% before bulking in the future. If you can get down to 10% that is even better as some research suggests that bulking at low bodyfat results in a greater percentage of weight added as lean mass rather than fat.

Now get your ass over to the diet section. good luck

Assuming he is 200lbs at 16% he would need to drop 10lbs of bodyfat in 10 weeks to hit 11%. Very doable.

Doable yes. How'd you get the job if you weren't already low bf%? Cardio and diet is what you need to change, weights shouldn't change to a bulking cycle, works for me at least. Head over to diet section and they will help you out.
