My current split is as follows-
Monday- Chest followed by triceps, and quick calves
Tuesday-Back followed by Biceps
Wednesday-Shoulders
Thursday-Quads, hams, calves
Friday- Biceps+triceps, and forearms
Saturday-Traps, abs, calves
5 minutes of light cardio before each workout
OK so now i have a few ideas on some possible changes and would like every ones opinions and ideas of your own. Please keep in mind that I am massing. OK so here goes...First thing that comes to mind is switching Wednesday and Thursday with each cause of the recovery in my anterior deltoids and triceps from Monday when working my shoulders on Wednesday. Secondly, should I drop the triceps and biceps adds on Monday and Tuesday because i have an arm day anyways? Third, adding posterior deltoids to back day due to the use of it doing my back and on shoulder day other than my presses focusing on just my lateral and anterior heads? Also, throwing my traps in on either back or shoulder day with the slight use of them in both workouts. If i do put traps in on another day using Saturday and Sunday as rest days, where can i throw in my abs? even though i am massing i like adding more depth and thickness to my abs. Constructive criticism and comments are very welcome. Also ideas of your own are welcome.
Now I am considering double duty training and would like some thought on whether or not i should even do it or not. Clean this up if you can cause i know it will probably look like a train wreck.
Monday-Chest A.M Triceps P.M
Tuesday- Back A.M Biceps P.M
Wednesday-Quads A.M Hams and Calves P.M
Thursday- Shoulders A.M Traps P.M
Friday- Triceps A.M Biceps and Forearms P.M
This one is very sketchy but I would relish in more insight on setting up a split for double duty training. I know Monday and Tuesday may look weird because the are followed by body parts that were largely used as secondaries in the A.M workouts. Don't know where to add abs either. Feel free to rip this one to shreds
So any help and criticism would be greatly appreciated guys, thanks a lot!
