    Rope Climbing

What do you all think of climbing one of those big manilla ropes for a back bicep and forearm workout? It wouldnt take long to become totally exhausted but just curious what you all thought

Well you would be using you own bodyweight which may be more beneficial than say 150lb lat pulldowns, that is if you weigh more than 150lbs. Ultimately though, you really are only hitting the back from one angle and I am sure your hands and forearms would give out before your back.

Do you ever do any pull-ups? They made my back grow more than any lat-pulldown could.

Actually I have pretty much stopped doing lots of lat pulldowns and doing wide grip pullups instead. My elbows were bothering me so I didnt last week but I normally hang a 25lb plate below me on them. I used to go up to a 45 and I could really tell a difference from it in my back
