    Push press - Pain

So ever since I started working out whenever I do military or push presses, (I do not perform Military anymore I like my shoulders and watched my buddy seriously injure himself doing it) I get a clicking feeling in my entire arm kind of like somebody plucking a guitar string that run through my arm from my hand almost to my shoulder. Today by the third rep of my first set it started to feel like someone was heating that guitar string to the point where it felt like my arm was on fire, It was like shooting pain it was as if someone was actually heating a thin strand inside my arm. I finished the set and went on with my workout but my left arm was more or less useless from that point. Overall a crap workout. I assume its something with my nerve any ideas on how to avoid this? Its happened forever but this is the first time pain was associated and it was definitely a lot of pain.

I feel it in my whole arm it doesn't usually hurt but the burning was in my forearm and elbow. I can *feel* the clicking in my entire arm tho

i'm no doctor so don't take my word. sounds like tendonitis. ice it after workouts. are you doing any forearm strengthening exercises ? (you should). i'd lay off any press / pull movements for a couple of weeks.

For forearm I do Farmer Walks, Wrist Curls and those hand squeeze things when I'm bored at home. I guess I'll make an appointment with my doc.
