Losing lower back, core, butt fat.

Hey everyone. ive been doing the Arc trainer 20 incline 20 - 25 resistance for 2 minutes then dropping both to 10 for another 2 minutes and continueing that for 30 minutes. I want to make sure im doing the right cardio ED to lose weight and burn fat off my Lower back , core , quad and butt area. I can grab alot of fat in those areas. Other wise my top abs show. Just want to make sure if i keep doing this cardio after some resistance training im still shocking the body and im in the right path.

    My stats are

    23
    12.5 BF
    200 lbs

I know diet is important as well. Its hard but im getting that in line. If anyone can help me out with some weekly work out routines or tips that would be awesome! Thanks

Diet dude. This will play the biggest role.

Spot reduction of fat is very very very very limited and really only provides results in theory (based on temperature/blood flow). You need to check out that diet form.

You are doing a form of interval training, but in all honesty you are not working at a high enough intensity to stimulate benefits of interval training that most people/media discuss. Try fasted cardio or doing some light cardio post workouts to encourage lipolysis and fatty acid oxidation (release + burning of the fat).

I will repeat your diet is much more important for you goals and you should check out that section of the form for advice that will be much more beneficial.

Thanks alot for yer input my dude! I just thought or well....heard..when u do high resistance on the arc trainer it wont tone yer legs. I got some solid thick legs. Tryna get rid of that. Gonna be tough genetically but theres def fat to grab. I can get rid of.

How are you arriving at that conclusion without knowing what his HR is while doing this?
