    My shoulder Workout Any Good?

    (1) Barbell Press 3 sets
    (2) Bent Over Rear Delt Raise 3 sets
    (3) Barbell Front Raise 2 sets
    (4) Lateral Raise 2 sets
    (5) Machine Press 3 sets (HEAVY & TILL FAILURE)

Usually every week i would change the exercises around but would you think thats good for mass?

I love pressing so thats why i chuck it at the end

Seems good. Might add in some more side and especially rear delt work as you have the front delt being overly utilized in this routine so maybe drop a press or the front raises as

you also remember the front delt is utilized in chest presses and many times people will have great shoulders but not a lot of chest mass. Many factors can cause this as well.

I feel many work then hell out of their front and side delts but not such much the rear and this is why they IMO don't have

delts that are "capped" lol which makes all the difference.

Not to Hijack a thread, but what exercises would you recommend to hit that rear delt?

I like dumbbell rear flyes. You can lay chest down on a incline bench and do this as well but you're gonna need to use less weight by a good bit.

I really get a good mind/muscle connection with the rear fly machine personally

Most common mistake I see with shoulder work is too much weight. I am pretty week for my size, but I consistently lift lighter than most on shoulders yet they develop well. (I think at least). BB basics. You want to feel what you are working. As Reed says you have to develop the mind connection and the rear delt was prob hardest for me. It takes light weight and lots of concentration or you will work everything but it.

What about if i was to get rid of a press and put 2 rear delt exercises into the day would that be much better? i cant complain about my shoulders as they grow very good especially rear delts but i always love to change a routine up and experiment

I like it with the exception of the machine work. I detest machines
