    Abs

    Hey guys,

I have seen more than enough pros on here talk about how either they laugh at guys doing abs or they just don't do them because proper diet and core training (dead lifts, etc.) will be more than enough.

My question is can this be true. Even when you don't have good abs genetics?

    Thanks so much to all!!

    Is it true?

    Yep.

That being said, there's nothing wrong with training abs.

I'll train 'em if they're the weak link in a lift i'm training (like deadlifts/squats or whatever).

The problem though, is that many guys spend way too much time training 'em... in the misplaced hope that this'll make 'me magically appear.

    Fact is, it won't.

Let me ask you one more question please Nar since your a pro! I spend most of my day 9-5 in the office. Should I be watching what I'm eating or continue to follow the normal clean diets posted all over here. I won't waste time posting my just know it is clean. I just had a thought of maybe does sitting around for most of the day effect it. Thx!

I'm not following, wouldn't following the clean diet (as per your post) equate to 'watching what you're eating'?

Yes Nar I see what your saying as following the clean diet should be enough. Just thought maybe you've come across something like changing the meals around a bit if your job has to do with you being a broker and in a chair most of the day.

The only thing you would need to change would be the amount of calories you're consuming.

A diet is meant to support your activity.

Obviously, if you're not very active, you won't need as many calories.
