What are the benefits of doing negative sets?
Negs are past positive failure and can be done with more weight then positives
do they cause more hypertrophy?
Negs are a great way to increase strength and intensity within your training. Make sure you fight the weight by pushing and dont just let the weight drop, this kind of training makes you very sore the next few days after training. Its a great way to springboard in to further growth if your at a sticking point and ive used this method many times to build more size.
