    Your best workout advice?

Everyone needs advice once in a while, as some advice is worth remembering. If you were to give one piece of workout advice, what would it be?

    3 step program,

    Step 1. find something heavy.
Step 2. lift said "something heavy" from step one
    step 3. Repeat.

ok just a joke, in all seriousness i would say don't expect changes over night and while changing things up is good, one thing has to remain constant and thats effort

Don't over do it in the gym. A good one hour routine with plenty of rest during the week is better then killing yourself for 2+ hours in the gym with little rest throughout the week. Muscle grows when resting so you need plenty of it.

Rest is just as important as work - learn to stay out of the gym. If you're really giving it your all every time you work out, two or three days of rest per week is the minimum necessary to recover.

consistent, diet, and have fun! im not one of the "hardcore" don't talk to or acknowledge anyone guys. I smile at everyone i turn a one hour work out into 2 because i talk so much and i know everyone by name. i love it i don't have much of a social life so i milk the gym for all its worth. Guess what.....for not being "hardcore" im still the biggest and strongest guy there.

I'd say an easy one that goes in line with committment and consistency...

Record how much you lift, and how many times. Keep pictures of yourself handy and take new ones at a certain interval. If weights/strength isn't increasing, or changing your size/way you look, then something's wrong.

We track progress in all other facets of our lives, why not the gym? Some people can remember everything, but think about your job/business - do you count on your memory? If so, you're probably losing money.

I record everything on my Ipod Touch. But don't be embarrased to bring a notepad in the gym.

Train smart, meaning use good enough form and lift less with ego.

Allways stretch before working out and warm up muscles that your working.

Plan all your meals ahead and store them into containers.

Mix things up with your workouts , don't use same workout for long period of time.

Last but not least ask for help , like spotter or advice.

Eat clean and be true to yourself what you ate, because every day counts.
