Does anyone know of a good workout journal that I can buy to bring to the gym with me. It would contain Reps, Sets, Weight, etc. and a area where I can out in excersie name.
thanks

i don't know of one you can buy...but you can make that on excel or any spreadsheet, print them out and stick them in a 3-ring binder....this is what i do....i'd rather spend my money on chicken and tuna![]()
I picked up "The Weight Training Workbook" by Jim Bennett from my local Replay SPorts. The publisher has a website the books can be purchased from http://www.jbba.com . It has a nice layout, first chapters are exercise suggestions by body part, and the spreadsheet is laid out with Exercise, then 6 sets with a place for reps and weight. Plus a little section for Notes, calorie, protein, carb, and Fat intake. I bought one book, and you can run it in a copy machine one it is full. Check out the site, might be what you are looking for.
I use a little 2" x 3" notebook, costs 50 cents at the dollar store.
I write the week's workout on the first page, then
I'll title each successive page for each individual exercise.
Then as I work out, I'll scrawl the #of reps and the weight . . .
so my 1st page looks like
------------
Bench Press
10-150, 10-170, 5-180
10-160, 10-180, 8-180
------------
and that's it, records for bench press for two workouts. Fits in the T-shirt pocket, covers everything, and it's cheap.
I've learned to leave a few blank pages between each day's grouping of excercises in case I gotta make a change.
Works for me . . .
.50 at the dollarstore
did they make you buy 2? j/k
I have made 2 different versions on excell. PM me if you want and I will send you both files so you can use them.
A Cash Ledger.
