Any experienced guys want to give advice on the yearly layout of training. I am back training and eating a full quota of calories since September. I have been doing the standard 3 x 8 over a 7 day split for 3 months, gained about 10lbs, but then the gains stopped. I recently changed to a high volume routine last week which left me sore for days. I intend to keep this routine for 6-8 weeks and maybe give German Volume Training 10 x 10 a shot for 6-8 weeks.

What would be a good plan for the 2012 year? Do i change it around every 2-3 months randomly or have an exact training plan?
