    OVERTRAINING...Just a thought....

Just something for everyone to think about....

I've been having great increases in strenght and size over the last couple of months, but then this week, I had things come up and couldnt hit the gym for three days.

After the three days, my strenght went thru the roof, or at least percentage wise I was able to lift far more then before.

Before the three days off, I was working out 4 on 2 off 4 on 2 off.

What I realized was that I was overtraining, even thought it did not feel like it.

Just a thought to everyone out there. Take a good look at your workout schedule and make sure that you aren't already or aren't close to overtraining your bodies.

What about cardio? I like to do at least 4 hours of cardio at 65%, every week.

    How about yourself?

If you're a veteran, why did you mean when you posted in the above link?

just a qestion, because it seems that you are saying you're both a veteran and an amateur.

    Just wondering!

You can workout only once a week and make unreal gains useing HIT type of training. However it must be very intinse and very brief.
Ill show you an example of a 1 day a week HIT training
    bench press 1x12
    incline press 1x12
    dips 1x8, 1x failure
    Military press 2x12
    lat pull overs 1x12
close grip pull ups 1x failure
    hammer curls 1x12
    squat 1x20
    deads 1x15
There are alot of guys on this type of training make huge gains.Peace
