Anyone do p90x or insanity? I might try it before next cycle

Since my BF is still a little high and my next cycle is roughly 2-3 months away and im currently in PCT I was considering doing this "insanity workout" which is often compared to p90x. It's basicly a 60 day cardio cycle IMO and I thought it would help lean me up a little before my next cycle. Thought I could still do the gym(weights) in morning then this thing at night, just thinking outloud but I normally do the bike for cardio for about 45 minutes and
insanity is about 45 minutes. Maybe just switch bike for this program? I dunno.

    Thoughts? Opinions?

Besides the fact that they're produced by the same company, they're not similar at all. If you're wanting to do insanity for your cardio, I think that would be a fine idea. As long as you're still going to the gym. If you push yourself REALLY hard through the dvd's then you'll get a hell of a workout. But insanity is shit for strength building.

Crossfit edurance! That's the best program I've ever used hands down! Why be lean when you can be a freakin beast and be lean? That's what crossfit endurance is about. That's my opinion and since your latest posts asks "how much your 1rm of****" I'm sure its the program for you

I did P90X and insanity. I much prefer Insanity for cardio and hitting the gym for a real workout rather then the PX90 idea of what a work out should be. I find both trainers ( tony on P90X and Shawn T on Insanity) funny. Cuter girls in Insanity. Anything else you wanted to know?

    so bmor,

would you support then the idea of using insanity for cardio while in in a lifting routine in the gym? Just curious, not sure how intense that insanity workout is, or if its meant to be the only program a person runs at a given time.....i love pushing my weights, but am looking for some kick ass cardio to run with it May before beach season hits....thanks

Beast, my buddy does just that. He is more in to conditioning then size so it works great for him. I use a few vids from p90x2 for stretching and yoga on my days Off or when I am super tight. Best thing to do is try it. It's only a video if you can't make it all the way through for your cardio then you have a goal for next time beat xx:xx min
