Weight training and p90x/insanity style training

Hey guys my question is will I be over training if I do p90x or insanity training a few days a week say on my days off the weights? Or do I need to just keep that time to rest my body? I currently train 4 days a week and do HIIT Cardio for 20 - 30 min after I do weights. I should maybe note I am currently cutting body fat but am trying to keep and build as much muscle as possible well doing so. Thanks alot!!

I am familiar with p90x, i know the workouts are fairly hard if youre only training 4 days a week i dont see why not that you can add in a extra day or two for a p90x workout. The thing with overtraining is that everyone is different, you may burn out faster then someone else , etc. You need to get to know your body and listen to it if it needs rest ,etc. I do a 6 day split with only 3 weight days generally the rest of the time is focused around hiits. try adding in a day of p90x and see where it gets you. Just make sure on one day you do take a full rest ( maybe some slight walking that day ) or something
