    Your deadlift form

Just wondering how everyones form for this is. I do wide grip and i get pretty low to the ground. I'v also watched colemans vidoe (i know hes got shit form) but what u think of his stance? he dosn't bend the knees very much i'd prob feel it more in my hams doing that.

My form is feet just about shoulder width apart, ankles right up against bar, grip just on the outside of my ankles using over/under style, looking up you want to drive your heels into the ground throwing your hips forward. Been doing it like that since college and it's been good to me.

I've found that the over/under grip is one of the most effective means to keep myself from rolling/leaning forward to much and losing a heavy attempt. For whatever reason, having that one hand underhand puts me at ease in terms of keeping my ass down and pulling up and back in one fluid motion, as opposed to "yanking" it up and then attempting to get back with the weight in two distinct movements.

big green...you're probably correct and i will have to switch to that kind of grip soon, simply because i'll outgrow my current grip....i just haven't used it...i'll play with it, see if it helps my form at all

Try 'em wearing no shoes or shoes with flat soles (wrestling shoes, old school Converse all stars). Running shoes and basketball shoes pitch your feet up in back which is detrimental to your form. I tried this for the first time on tues and it felt noticeably better.
