Switch to Fasted Cardio from Interval Cardio?
I'm coming to the end of a cycle. (stats and info are here: http://forums.steroid.com/showthread...nd-cycle-diary)
I've added about 20 pounds, but I'd say 15 of it is excess. For the last few weeks of the cycle, I want to trim up my diet a bit, and get to 10% BF for Summer.
I will be moving at the end of my cycle as well. I will not have access to the gym I have where I am now any more. I will be limited to running and bodyweight exercises all Summer during my PCT, etc. So, I want to lean up now while I'm still on AAS to keep as much muscle as I can.
I workout 5 days weekly with 30 min interval cardio after weights. Wondering if I ought to drop that, and do fasted cardio in the morning upon waking, and then just do my weight routine in the afternoon?

I know people who will do both... Fated in the A.M. and then go workout - and then do HIT or interval cardio... I think I'd rather drop my calories or something, that's a LOT of time spent.

Mate you gained 15lb of fat and only 5lbs lean, or am I reading that wrong?
Interested to see your diet you have planned for the last few weeks of your cycle. Normally you would up cals/carbs in PCT to retain gains but it sounds like you didn't have that many?
Also, where is your bf?
I've been experimenting a little with a different form of fasted cardio recently but don't wanna post it til you can answer the above, cheers.

I'm the very definition of hard gainer... The 5# / 15# is a complete guess. I don't think I've gained much fat - surely not 15 # of it, but if it's not muscle, what else can it be.
But if I actually put on 5# of real, hard "keepable" muscle, I will be ultra pleased with my results. (I know, sad isn't it!!)
My diet is identical to what I posted in my diary (stats and info are here: http://forums.steroid.com/showthread...nd-cycle-diary)

I can't possibly imagine that I gained 15 pounds of LBM. in 11 weeks. That would be equivalent to what I've gained in 10 years of working out routinely naturally.
My muscles feel very hard and pumped and maybe it's lots of water, etc. but I can't imagine I'll actually keep it.

I think I will try 30 min. of running / fasted upon waking and then do my weight routine later. My AI is Arimidex at .25/day. Last week I upped it to .5/day to try and deal with some of the bloating. Also, I got significant acne on this cycle, which still hasn't gone away.
I hope it's just "water." I have an inch of "stuff" covering my lower abs. - Can't believe it's just H2O.Yes of course! But I don't see them as the miracle some do. They're a great tool to expand gains coupled with excellent training and diet...
If I actually gained 10 pounds of "real" kept muscle, I will be astounded. I'm really skeptical how much will be muscle once I try to get lean again. That's when I always seem to lose both, no matter how well I eat or train.Awesome, thanks! I've tried to keep it updated and note any changes, etc. for posterity. Comments are welcome.

i am about to start my pct (mon) and i am very water logged and i did use a-dex at .2 eod, i had no bad sides of anykind ( no wood, acne, moody,no nipple probs,etc...)
EXCEPT the water weight but i do naturally carry water easily, i upt my water to 2-3 gals a day and it helped and the dry sauna cardio, this was my 1st cycle and i KNOW i have put on some hard earned muscle but i do have some flappy water
BUT ITS WHAT YOUR LEFT WITH AFTER PCT YOU WILL THEN NEED TO DEAL WITH
and keep your cals high during your pct, you will regret it if you dont

What is the difference between "water weight" and "fat"? How does one tell the difference?
