    Baseline question, and other

Hi! I want know, if my workout for super growth :P it's great..

So i have this plan...3 excersise per group (8 reps each) (3 for tricep, 3 for biceps for example, for all the group listed below):

(One day on, one day off)

    Day 1: triceps, biceps, chest

    Day 3: quadriceps, hamstring

    Day 5: Shoulder, back

    Day 7: calves, abs

And for a steroid user, this is also great? or which variations I should do?

    Thanks!

why not combine legs into one day?

    give chest it's own day

    put shoulders/arms together

    put back/abs together

    1: chest
    3: legs
    5: arms/shoulder
    7: back/abs

    just a suggestion.

and let's talk about taking steroids at your age. You are 18, and are not ready for steroids. Your hormonal system is still growing and developing, and needs to continue to do so til your mid twenties, without the addition of your taking steroids. Taking steroids too soon/young could stunt full develop, denying your hormonal system from reaching it's full genetic potential.

    Cheers!

your workout routine should be based on your personal development, your goals, and how much time you can afford to spend. For some guys, your routine would be too light, as they workout 6x a week.

each day is a different muscle group, and only 1x muscle group per week. so for an advanced weightlifter, this would not be overtraining. for me, this would be too much for my CNS (central nervous system), but might not be a huge issue for the younger crowd.

everyone is diffferent, but what i do is

    barbell:
5 sets (3 going up weight, and two down ) horizontal
    2 sets incline
    2 sets decline

then i do two sets of butterflies using dumbells face up horizontal
then i hit the butterfly machine for two more sets

(i do this as the dumbells have a different focus than the machine)

    New questions

If for only one exercise per group, on the last series I do a "reps x failure", so for example, i do two exercise for biceps (all 3x8) and then I do the last exercise for biceps on this setting (3x8, 3x8, 3x failure)

    What you think?

for now, here's what i'm doing on my bi's:

i do one arm concentration curls, from a sitting position, with my elbow pressed against my inner thigh, near the knee, and my free hand grabs my free knee.
    almost like this:

i really only do one routine, as i totally kill my bi's this way.
    i warm up with 45lbs x 5 reps
    55lbs x 6 reps
    65lbs x 6 reps
    75lbs x failure (about 4 or 5x)
    65lbs x failure (about 8x)
    55lbs x failure (about 10+)

then i switch over to reverse curls (two arm) like this:

i only go 60lbs total, since still nursing an old injury, and i avoid going to failure, so for how, this routine is more rehab than growth orientated

finally, i finish my arms with some barbell tricep curls, like this:

these i'm ok with, so i go 90lbs from a standing position, and two sets of 15 or so til failure

this is all i do for arms right now, and the day is also shared with shoulders.

This is abouut all this old bull can do, but you being a youngster, i'm sure you can blast anything i can do

    enjoy!
