    recovery

Is it ok to workout your muscles twice a week if you feel they are recovered fully, for example when I work out chest ill be sore for 2-3days then after that I'm not that sore anymore and I'd give it an extra day and then could I work it again? Or is better to just work it once a week?

There are variables to this question. if your not natural a lot of people can get away with it, if you are then it depends on your body but for most two strenuous workouts of the same body part in a week would probably lead to overtraining.

Ok, and how do you know if you are over training?

You can train large muscle groups (legs, back, chest) with 4 days apart and small muscle groups with 3 days apart. This way you are assuring that there is no over training involved.

However, the question is, will you grow more if you train them twice a week as opposed hitting them really hard once a week.

In my personal experience, hitting each muscle group really hard once a week has yielded better results than training them twice EW.
