I'm currently taking a small break from weights to focus on cardio, and core work. I'm thinking about getting back into in at the begining of June. My question is, how much for abs and calves? current routine (BTW not on gear)
monday - chest 20 sets - typically 15,12,10,8 reps
tuesday - back 20-24sets - same reps
wed - quads 20 sets - 20,18,16,14 on squat variations 30 reps on extensions
thursday tricep 20, shoulders 20-24 higher reps
friday - biceps 16, biceps femoris 16sets. 15,12,10,8 reps
i typically did abs (3 exercise circut) monday and thursday
and calves(10-15 sets) one tuesday and friday
Is that not enonugh calves or abs? or is this whole routine garbage? I'm just not getting the growth i want in my calves or abs like everything else is.
any imput would be fantastic, also my diet is solid.
