    High frequency training

    Hi brothers,

If you listen to interviews with stalone, schwarzenegger and so on they all say they trained many HOURS in the gym EVERY day. How is this possible? How can an athlete get bigger when he never take enough time to regenerate. Are those guys lying? I prefer 2 days on 1 day off. And I train 30-60 minutes. Never more than one hour

Not sure what those individuals really do in the gym, since I personally haven't seen them working out.

Having said that, it is entirely possible that they only hit one muscle group a day, and the rest of the time is cardio and related. Say I do 90 minutes with my routines, counting warm up, take a little break, then hit cardio for another 90 minutes or less.

It's really hard to judge when someone says that to someone in the general public, since most in the GP don't really have a clue what it takes for an effective workout.

It's true. There's a beast of a guy at my gym. I went in to train and he was there, 10 minutes later I got a call and had to leave, came back after 2 hours and he was still there. I asked him how long he trains, he said 2 to 3 hours 6 days a week. He is about as big as Cutler.

I just dont think that they trained like this throughout all the growth, I think they train like this when they get close to max unnatural growth and maintain. I would puke after 2 hours. I only do 1 hour. Very rarely do I go over.

Thanx. But there is the theory of short and hard training for maximal gains. Because of anabolic hormons in your system during short and hard exercise. The raised gh-levels are only for one hour I suppose

This theory becomes irrelevant if we are talking about juice monsters who inject themselves with tens of units of HGH, IFG-1 and Insulin on a daily basis as well as several grams of AAS every week.

A juice monster can train for 6 hrs for a single session under these circumstances, trust me when I say he will NOT go catabolic as long as there is a constant flow of amino acids in his blood stream.

Welcome to the world of professional bodybuilding, brother.
